HOW DO I APPLY TO BE A Psi Chi MEMBER?
Meet eligibility requirements (see below):

Enrolled as a UNLV student and a Psychology major or minor

Completion of 3 college semesters (i.e., second semester sophomore or beyond)

Completion of 9 credit hours of psychology courses

Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) in cumulative grades, and a minimum GPA of 3.0 (on a 4.0 scale) in psychology courses

One time lifetime membership fee of $85

Fill out the application at psichi.org

Fill out our Chapter Application

Once you've been accepted, send your $85 through Paypal at psichi@unlv.edu and include your name and NSHE number when submitting.
If you do not meet the requirements to join Psi Chi, feel free to join Psychology Club! Click here!
HOW MUCH ARE DUES?
In order to become a Psi Chi member, you pay a one-time $85 fee for lifetime membership. There are no annual national or chapter dues.
When will my membership be processed?
Our memberships are processed in batches. Frequency can depend on how many people apply for Psi Chi within a given time. Feel free to email us at psichi@unlv.edu for more information or if you need your membership expediated.
WHERE CAN I GET GRADUATION REGALIA?
All graduating Psi Chi members get a stole and cord, contact us to retrieve them before graduation.
WHAT IF I CAN'T MAKE EVENTS?
We understand that it takes a lot of work to balance school, work, and your personal life. There is not a minimum amount of events with required attendance. However, we do encourage attendance to as many events as possible in order to get the full benefits of your Psi Chi membership.
Where can i find a list of meetings/events?
Currently, traditional "meetings" for Psi Chi and Psychology Club are for board members only. If you are a general member of either organization, then we highly encourage you to attend our events! Events will be listed on our website and newsletter as well as advertised on our Instagram, @unlvpsichi and @unlvpsychologyclub.
Do I have to be a psychology major?
In order to join Psi Chi, the International Honor Society, you must be a psychology major or minor.
However, if you are not a psychology major or minor, but are interested in the field of psychology, we encourage you to join UNLV's psychology club! There are no membership requirements to join Psychology Club.
